Interface Settings

The Interface Settings tab allows you to customize how Colonnes looks and which visual elements are displayed.

Controls whether contextual help is displayed throughout the application. When enabled, a popup will appear showing links to documentation pages and context-dependent keyboard shortcuts to assist you in using various features.

This feature is particularly useful when learning Colonnes, but you can disable it for a cleaner interface once you’re familiar with the application.

Hides the visual connectors between parent and child tasks for a cleaner interface.

When disabled, you’ll see lines connecting parent tasks to their children, helping visualize the hierarchy. When enabled, these connectors are hidden for a more minimal appearance.

Hides the column headers from the main interface view.

Column headers typically show information about the current column context. Disabling them provides more screen space for your tasks.

Hides the quick print buttons from the column headers.

When enabled, the print buttons that appear in column headers are hidden, giving you more space and a cleaner interface.

Hides the floating action menu at the bottom of the application.

The floating action menu provides quick access to common actions like creating tasks, editing, and deleting. When hidden, you’ll need to use keyboard shortcuts or the command menu to access these features.
