Interface Settings
Section titled “Interface Settings”The Interface Settings tab allows you to customize how Colonnes looks and which visual elements are displayed.
Show Help & Shortcuts
Section titled “Show Help & Shortcuts”Controls whether contextual help is displayed throughout the application. When enabled, a popup will appear showing links to documentation pages and context-dependent keyboard shortcuts to assist you in using various features.
This feature is particularly useful when learning Colonnes, but you can disable it for a cleaner interface once you’re familiar with the application.
Hide Connectors
Section titled “Hide Connectors”Hides the visual connectors between parent and child tasks for a cleaner interface.
When disabled, you’ll see lines connecting parent tasks to their children, helping visualize the hierarchy. When enabled, these connectors are hidden for a more minimal appearance.
Hide Column Headers
Section titled “Hide Column Headers”Hides the column headers from the main interface view.
Column headers typically show information about the current column context. Disabling them provides more screen space for your tasks.
Hide Column Menu
Section titled “Hide Column Menu”Hides the column menu (three dots icon) from the column headers.
When enabled, the column menu that provides quick access to Print, Stack, and other column actions is hidden, giving you more space and a cleaner interface. You can still access these features through the command menu or context menu.
Hide Floating Action Menu
Section titled “Hide Floating Action Menu”Hides the floating action menu at the bottom of the application.
The floating action menu provides quick access to common actions like creating tasks, editing, and deleting. When hidden, you’ll need to use keyboard shortcuts or the command menu to access these features.
Hide ‘Create a new item’ Button
Section titled “Hide ‘Create a new item’ Button”Hides the “Create a new item” button that appears at the end of each column.
When enabled, this button is hidden from all columns. You can still create new items using keyboard shortcuts.
